SelfMade

This event has ended

Third Space, Friday 2nd February

The first SelfMade event will be an evening of artwork, acoustic performance, discussion, and zines focusing on the experiences of eight Irish female-fronted acts who are making waves in the music industry. Women are under-represented at all levels in music, and we want to use our first event as a platform to hear from women who have pushed beyond this barrier. We know their stories and experiences will be valuable to people of all genders.

The event will feature pieces from contributing illustrators, as well as a panel discussion chaired by vocalist, Jess Kav (BARQ). Acoustic live performances from Gráinne Hunt, Mary Barnecutt, Sive, and Farah Elle. The panel, focusing on ‘The Unseen Sides of Making Music' will include Carol Keogh, Romy, Hvmmngbyrd, Gráinne Hunt, Mary Barnecutt, Sive, and Farah Elle, as well as open points from the audience.

To make this event inclusive to all budgets, you can choose your price below between €5-10. All proceeds go towards the SelfMade featured artists, as well as donations and all profits made from the Unseen Zine.
