Oktoberfest @ The Open Gate Brewery
The Open Gate Brewery, St James's Gate, Dublin 8, Thursday 29th September - Friday 30th September 2016
Guinness is celebrating Germany’s Oktoberfest with a two-day beer and food festival at The Open Gate Brewery, Dublin 8 on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th September.
To mark this famous celebration of beer, three native German Guinness brewers based at St. James’s Gate Brewery; Marcus Bengelstorff, Jasmin Winterer and Peter Vollrath have collaborated on a ‘Oktoberfestbier’ a traditional German style beer, which will be on tap for the festival, and will remain on tap for the month of October alongside a number of other small batch German brews.
Oktoberfest @ The Open Gate Brewery will also feature some of Ireland’s finest German food producers including German Master Butcher James McGeough of McGeough’s Butchers in Connemara, Dublin’s Krüst Bakery and Longford’s Herterich Family Artisan Meats, originally from Bavaria in Germany.
They will be serving traditional German bites created to complement the selection of German beers available on tap at The Open Gate Brewery during the event.
To find the Open Gate Brewery, walk past the main St. James's Gate entrance on James's St., and they're the next gate on the left.
