Fresh off the back of their ‘Hits To The Head’ world tour featuring a 20 track greatest hits collection showcasing the world-conquering success of the band’s career to date; Franz Ferdinand announces a special outdoor concert at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks this Aug 27th.

Franz Ferdinand released ‘Hits To The Head’ in 2022 via Domino records, who signed the Scottish rock band in 2003. Their second single ‘Take Me Out’ exploded onto the international stage, putting the band firmly on the global map and was a precursor to their eponymous debut album which went on to sell nearly four million copies worldwide.

Supporting Franz Ferdinand are Pillow Queens from Dublin – Sarah, Pam, Rachel and Cathy. All in different bands when they met, they instantly hit it off and shared the same musical vision. Within a few years of playing around Ireland and beyond, they had gained a strong following and along with a reputation for being a live band you had to see.
