Electric Vehicle Summit 2018
Croke Park, Wednesday 24th October 2018
Revealing the latest advances and newest roadmaps as the way is paved for more affordable EV models, broader reach and improved infrastructure
There are now 5600 EVs on Irish roads. This number may look somewhat short when our government's target is to have 20,000 on the road EVs by 2020. However, registrations of new and imported electric vehicles in Ireland are up 40% on this time last year. So, are EVs finally ready to take-off? Building on the success of our previous summits, the 3rd National Electric Vehicles Summit will focus on how we maximise the potential of EVs via smart technologies, government support and customer focus.
Widespread electric vehicle adoption requires a supportive ecosystem of stakeholders including utilities, government, vehicle OEMs, charging providers, interest groups and drivers. The 2018 Electric Vehicles Summit brings all of these stakeholders together under one roof to explore, in a highly interactive format, emerging trends, share best practices and map the road ahead. This innovative event is about making the most of the opportunities presented by EVs. It is about aligning objectives, creating partnerships and adopting business models to facilitate further adoption into the Irish market.
