Chamber Choir Ireland: A Babe is Born – A Classical Choral Concert celebrating the story of Christmas.
The festive voices of Chamber Choir Ireland will resound in a joyous programme of choral works drawing on influences from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, right up to modern day, inviting us once again to rejoice in the Christmas story.
Artistic Director, Paul Hillier, has crafted a beautiful seasonal programme featuring festive works by Arvo Pärt, William Byrd and Tomás Luis de Victoria, resulting in a unique Christmas experience. This programme also presents the world premiere of a series of carols by Eoghan Desmond: Sir Cristemas, The Morning Star, I Sing of a Maiden, and Verbum caro factum est, which were specifically commissioned by Chamber Choir Ireland for this occasion.
