This September, our book clubs will read and discuss Intimate City: Dublin Essays by Peter Sirr.

How well do you think you know the city of Dublin? Do you ever find something catching your eye on a street that you have walked every day and never noticed before?

In these newly published essays, Peter Sirr takes us wandering through the streets of Dublin, past and present to pull back the layers.

Trace old routes and discover new ones, listening for the steps of those who have gone before in a city where people have lived and died for over a thousand years.

About the Book Clubs
The book clubs are held on the last Tuesday and Thursday of every month at 8pm. We start each session with an inclusive discussion about the current title and then have a broader discussion about what we’re reading and swap recommendations.

The event will take place online using Zoom. The Zoom link for this online event will be sent to you in a reminder email, 24 hours prior to the event.
